Ice Water Rescue

At 1:30pm, Bricksville Fire was dispatched to a fisherman who fell through the ice on Lake Lego. Rescue 125 and Rescue 126 with the Airboat responded within minutes. Car 225 soon reported that the fisherman fell through the ice and climbed out himself but was unable to move. He was approximatley 75 yards off shore. Once Rescue 126 and the Airboat arrived, firefighters quickly got the Airboat on the ice and responded to his location.  It then became an easy and quick rescue. Firefighters soon brought the fisherman back to shore and treated him for Hypothermia.
